The “Tritsch-Tratsch” container complex with mirror tent in Vienna’s Prater impressively demonstrates how modular container construction turns innovative spatial concepts into reality. Built from numerous 6-metre office containers, this project was completed in record time—from the groundbreaking in October to completion in November 2023. This short construction period highlights the efficiency and flexibility that modular construction offers.
The container complex is not only home to the main attraction—the mirror tent—which, in addition to catering areas, also includes its own kitchen, sanitary facilities and extensive storage space. An adjoining two-storey annex houses offices, artists’ dressing rooms and a spacious equipment and materials store. This project not only demonstrates the technical feasibility of modular structures, but also impresses with its aesthetics and functionality, meeting the requirements of demanding, fully functional building complexes.
Our WC and shower containers provide visitors to the Danube Island Festival with clean, modern sanitary facilities at all times. They are designed to meet hygiene standards even under heavy use and make a significant contribution to the event’s comfort. Comprehensive equipment and regular maintenance ensure a pleasant and hygienic user experience—a small but important detail that contributes to the festival’s positive overall atmosphere.
For the Tritsch-Tratsch mirror tent, the container complex was equipped with a bespoke sanitary container solution that stands out for both quality and functionality. The setup includes two 20-foot premium sanitary containers, each designed specifically for women and men, as well as a barrier-free 10-foot WC container. All units feature concealed pipework and high-quality fittings. These facilities offer advanced water and hygiene technologies and impress with an appealing design that emphasises clean lines and modern aesthetics. The sanitary areas are designed to provide a pleasant and safe environment for all guests. In particular, the accessible features ensure comfort and dignity for visitors with a wide range of needs. By using these high-quality sanitary containers, CHV Container demonstrates its commitment to bespoke, functional and aesthetically pleasing modular solutions that enhance the overall experience of every project.
The two-storey container complex associated with the mirror tent houses offices and artists’ dressing rooms, accessible via a covered external steel staircase. The directly connected warehouse hall impresses with a ceiling height of almost five metres and is equipped with a large roller shutter door, enabling convenient access to materials and equipment. Both structures are also fitted with a secondary roof and gutters, providing functional protection as well as aesthetic consistency. This facility clearly demonstrates how modern architecture and well-planned use of space can be combined in modular construction to maximise both aesthetics and functionality.
