In the dynamic world of event design, CHV has once again proven with this Custom Event Container that creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand. A decommissioned 12m shipping container was specially re-conceptualized and converted into an oversized “DJ platform” for a major Austrian music festival. The shipping container, which once transported goods across the world’s oceans, was extensively modified: on one side, the event logo was cut out to create an impressive silhouette against the sky, while the other side was fitted with a generous window that offers a wide view over the celebrating crowd.

Every detail of this project was carefully considered. The internal electrical system was adapted for the high-end sound system and an impressive lighting installation to ensure not only optimal acoustics but also an unforgettable visual show. The Custom Event Container was strategically placed on an elevated platform to maximize visibility and directly transfer the DJ’s energy to the audience.

This single container custom build is not only a prime example of the adaptability of shipping containers for new uses but also underscores the importance of reusable resources in the event industry.
