This used 20-ft office container has two side windows and an electric wall heater. It can serve as a bright workspace or a break room for a site crew.

The two windows on the long side bring daylight into the room while leaving space at the ends for desks and cupboards. Each window tilts for ventilation and has a blind to control glare at a workstation. With around 15 m² of usable space, you can set up a site office or arrange a table and seating for crew breaks. The electric wall heater is included in the price. CHV has inspected and serviced the unit. It is in good condition, with minor exterior wear, and is available now from our Vienna depot for collection or delivery by arrangement.

FAQs – Used Office Containers from CHV

Do I need a building permit for this office container?

The respective building authority decides whether a simple building notification is sufficient or a complete building application is necessary. We provide all planning, structural, and foundation documents and advise you on the procedure; however, the submission is made by the client. Thanks to our experience with projects in all federal states, we know which documents are usually required and how you can avoid waiting times.

What is the delivery and installation process, and what requirements must the installation site meet?

All used office containers are immediately available ex depot Vienna. After receipt of payment, we organize delivery within 1–2 working days (or by arrangement). Our partner move-it uses truck-mounted loading cranes; the transport fee includes the usual lifting work on site. A load-bearing, leveled foundation (± 1 cm), an access road of at least 3.5 m width / 4.2 m height, and free space for swiveling the crane are required. Self-collection is possible (fork tines ≥ 2,450 mm), depot lifting costs are then to be borne separately.

What quality assurance do I receive for used office containers from CHV?

Every used container is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, defective parts are replaced, surfaces are repainted, and the technology is functionally tested in our workshop. This ensures that only goods in perfect condition leave the depot. Containers are structurally designed for decades and can still be repaired after 25 years. For new goods, we also offer a buy-back guarantee; for used goods, the statutory warranty claims apply in B2B business.

Can I expand or modify a used office container later (windows, air conditioning, sanitary facilities)?

Yes. In our container workshop, we realize almost any adaptation: additional windows, various floor coverings, paint finishes, windbreak, sanitary modules, or air conditioning. Many containers already have an air conditioning opening, so the unit can also be retrofitted by the customer. Double units are assembled on site in approx. 5 hours (plus travel time); this assembly is not included in the product or transport price. Extensions up to three floors are possible.
