For Domäne Albrechtsfeld, CHV developed two custom-built motorsport containers for mobile catering, hospitality and event support use. Designed as the Garage Kitchen and Garage Lounge, the transportable units combine functional infrastructure with a clear architectural presence.

Custom-built support units for a private classic car racing collection

For Domäne Albrechtsfeld –, home to a private collection of classic racing cars, CHV developed two custom-built container units that combine functional support infrastructure with a clear architectural presence.

Designed for use at racing events, the containers travel with vehicles and crew to international venues. When not in transit, they form an integrated part of the newly built garage environment and its wider spatial concept.

Garage Kitchen

Garage Kitchen – Mobile catering and service unit in Ferrari red

Finished in Ferrari red, the Garage Kitchen serves as a mobile catering and service unit at racing events. Based on an ISO-certified steel container, it was fully converted to meet the practical requirements of temporary motorsport use.

The unit combines:

Robust steel container construction
Fully insulated interior
Reinforced interior surfaces
Concealed service routing
Integrated washroom facilities
Large upward-opening serving hatches

Its exterior appearance draws directly on the visual language of classic racing cars, establishing a clear connection between vehicle, technology and built space.

Garage Lounge

Garage Lounge – Hospitality and retreat unit in a Porsche-inspired setting

A silver container was developed as a complementary hospitality unit, providing space for reception, short breaks and day-to-day communication. Its interior is defined by clean lines, carefully selected materials and custom-built fittings, creating a calm and deliberately reduced atmosphere.
The unit integrates naturally into the wider garage architecture and, like the Garage Kitchen, is fully transportable and intended for repeated event use.

Together, the two units show how ISO containers can be developed beyond pure utility into mobile architecture that responds precisely to its functional and spatial context.
