FAQs – Used Office Container Double Unit
The respective building authority decides whether a simple building notification is sufficient or a complete building application is necessary. We provide all planning, structural, and foundation documents and advise you on the procedure; however, the submission is made by the client. Thanks to our experience with projects in all federal states, we know which documents are usually required and how you can avoid waiting times.
All used containers are available immediately from the Vienna depot. After receipt of payment, we will organize delivery within 1–2 working days (or by arrangement). Our partner move-it uses truck-mounted loading cranes; the transport fee includes the usual lifting work on site. A load-bearing, leveled foundation (± 1 cm), an access road of at least 3.5 m width / 4.2 m height and free space for swiveling the crane are required. Self-collection by forklift is possible (fork tines ≥ 2,450 mm), lifting costs are then to be borne separately.
Every used container is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, defective parts are replaced, surfaces are repainted, and the technology is functionally tested in our workshop. This ensures that only goods in perfect condition leave the depot. Containers are structurally designed for decades and can still be repaired after 25 years. For new goods, we also offer a buy-back guarantee; for used goods, the statutory warranty claims apply in B2B business.
Yes. In our container workshop, we realize almost any adaptation: additional windows, various floor coverings, paint finishes, windbreak, sanitary modules, or air conditioning. Many containers already have an air conditioning opening, so the unit can also be retrofitted by the customer. Double units are assembled on site in approx. 5 hours (plus travel time); this assembly is not included in the product or transport price. Extensions up to three floors are possible.
